Demonstrate exceptional talent through an internationally recognised record of achievement in your field
Have an established relationship with a Tasmanian Government department or authority, the University of Tasmania,
or its associated research institutes
Be referred by a Tasmanian Government department, authority, or the University of Tasmania
Show a genuine commitment to live in and contribute to Tasmania

Intellectual property rights or successful commercialisation outcomes
Proven innovation or entrepreneurial activity

INDICATORS OF EXCEPTIONAL ACHIEVEMENT
A suitably senior representative from a Tasmanian Government department, University of Tasmania, or relevant research organisation prepares a Business Case on your behalf
The representative submits the Business Case to Migration Tasmania (niv@migration.tas.gov.au)
Migration Tasmania assesses suitability and advises
If eligible, Migration Tasmania completes the Home Affairs Form 1000 and returns it, along with the Business Case to you
You submit your EOI to the Department of Home Affairs with the Tasmanian nomination documents
