Breaking! Australian government eased International students working hours limitation

The government announced on 13 January 2022 that the Commonwealth had lifted the 40 hour per fortnight work limitation placed on international students to ease the supply chain pressures.

International students will be called on to help to solve the workforce shortages caused by the Omicron variant.

PM Scott Morrison confirmed in the press conference that students will have no hour restrictions on them being able to, available for work in Australia if they’re already here. Student visa holders and Working Holiday Visa holders who are double vaccinated are allowed to come to Australia since 15 Dec 2021 with no quarantine.
