Those who are interested in working in Australia will be happy to hear this news! Under the Working Holiday Maker program, the 6-month work limitation has been eased.

Working Holiday Makers can work for one employer without obtaining permission from the Department of Home Affairs for the duration of their visa. The 6-month limitation period does not apply to any work performed before July 1st 2023.

Because of this change, Working Holiday Makers are able to continue working for an employer for an additional 6 months regardless of whether they previously worked there. It applies to anyone who holds a Working Holiday Makers visa, regardless of when they arrived or a Bridging visa with condition 8547.
