ACT Migration Updates for 2024-25

In 2023-24 the ACT successfully allocated all 1,200 nomination places (600 each for 491 and 190 visas). Here are the key updates for 2024-25:

Allocation

• 190 Visa: 1,000 places

• 491 Visa: 800 places

• Total: 1,800 places (50% increase from last year)

Invitation Rounds

• Smaller rounds earlier this year led to higher scores. Larger rounds are expected later.

• Next round: Before 14 February 2025.

• Priority: Teaching, healthcare, and social assistance occupations.

One Nomination Per Person

You can only receive one ACT nomination (491 or 190).
