SA opens an additional 24 Engineering occupations to applicants currently residing offshore

South Australia has opened an additional 24 Engineering occupations to applicants currently residing offshore on Tuesday 2 November 2021.



The Minimal Requirements:

  • At least eight years work experience in the nominated or closely related occupation

  • Demonstrate a Superior English level, unless the applicant holds an eligible passport from a country where the primary language is English (the United Kingdom, the United States of America, New Zealand, Ireland and Canada)

  • Score at least 85 points for the Skilled Work Regional visa (subclass 491) in the Department of Home Affairs' points test

Applicants also have to meet the full requirements for each occupation which are shown on South Australia’s Skilled Occupation List from 10am, ACST, Tuesday 2 November 2021. The full list is as below,
