From 1 July 2024 to 30 September 2024, a significant number of EOIs (Expression of Interest) received nominations from different states and territories across Australia:

Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491):

ACT: 92

Key Highlights:

  1. South Australia remains a top destination for skilled migrants, leading the nominations for subclass 190 (530 nominations).

  2. Victoria continues to be highly attractive for skilled workers, with a high number of nominations for both subclass 190 (464) and subclass 491 (234).

  3. Tasmania is growing as a regional migration hotspot, particularly for subclass 491 with 111 nominations.

  4. Smaller states like the Northern Territory and ACT have steady nomination numbers for both visa subclasses, highlighting opportunities in less populous regions.
