Tasmania updated its skilled migration program on 26 September 2024, providing the latest information on Subclass 190 and Subclass 491 visa nominations, applications, and Registrations of Interest (ROI):

Skilled Nominated (Subclass 190) visa

• Nominations: 360 out of 2,100 places used

• Applications lodged but not yet decided: 211

• Invitations issued but not yet accepted: 100

• Registrations of interest: 402 still pending review

Skilled Work Regional (Subclass 491) visa

• Nominations: 104 out of 760 places used

• Applications lodged but not yet decided: 81

• Invitations issued but not yet accepted: 45

• Registrations of interest: 386 still pending review

The earliest undecided nomination was lodged on 27 August 2024.
