Tasmania State Nomination Update

2020-21 Skilled Migration Program current nomination status

Tasmania’s nomination quota for the 2020–21 program year is:

• Subclass 491 – 1750 places

• Subclass 190 – 1000 places

• Business migration – 45 places

Approximately 68% of total skilled visa (subclass 491 and 190) nomination places have been allocated.

Approximately 70% of subclass 491 places have been allocated.

While approximately 500 subclass 491 nomination places remain for the 2020–2021 program year more than 1400 number of nomination applications are waiting to be considered.
